Big Lake is located in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Sunrise Park has nice slopes and a friendly staff, and you can run the rapids of Black River - East Fork. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Mogollon Rim Mountains rocks! A nice nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn-Springerville, and a visit to Big Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at 75 Spring. This lake is so wonderful. | | and Big Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Rainbow Campground is a tremendous local campground. The Chitty Canyon Trail Thirty Four offers hiking at its best, and camping at Gabaldon Campground is always a good experience. Summer at Big Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows at Big Lake | |

during the wintertime usually sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Crescent Lake near Big Lake, it's a delightful lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Lake; KP Trail Seventy is a good local trail.
Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Big Lake. There's wonderful hiking along the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail, also Big Lake Dam is worth going to if you're here. Big Lake gets
a common amount of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
If you need a place to stay Best Western Sunrise Inn is a pleasant choice, and a striking lake like Big Lake is a glorious place to check out.
