    If you are in Coconino county it's always a good idea to stop by Barber Lake. Barber Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Barber Lake you could always explore Barbershop Canyon. For the duration of the summertime months here at Barber Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's. Through the moonlight  
   hours it's regularly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 50's with temperatures at Barber Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Payson Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest; Hart Point is clearly visible from Barber Lake. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. A delightful lake like Dude Lake close to Barber Lake is a tremendous
 
               location to pop by; Barber Lake is right by the Myrtle Trail. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Barber Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Rock Crossing Campground is a splendid place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel.
You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Knoll Lake Campground is a good local campground, and a trip to Barber Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Pinchot Springs. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Horton Creek Trail; the scenery at Blue Ridge Dam is picturesque. Barber Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
Blue Ridge Reservoir is a wonderful lake in close proximity to Barber Lake, and do take a hike on the Highline Trail.

The fire was active yesterday due to increased temperatures, moving to the southwest and reaching the Highline Trail. A successful burn-out was conducted last night along a ridge on the eastern boundary.

The area encompassed by the following trail boundaries (including the trails themselves) is closed to support firefighting operations and provide for public safety until further notice: On the west side, from the top of Rim Trail 290 (Col. Devin Trail) and Trail 390 (Railroad Tunnel Trail) down to the Washington Park Trailhead. Closures on the south side are from Trail 31 (Highline Trail) at the Washington Park Trailhead east to Trail 30 (Myrtle Trail). ?We were camping near Clints Well and Happy Jack area with our two dogs, Small Beagal and Black Lab.Both females. They took off after bunnies and never came back to campsite. This happened? the last weekend of July. If any hikers or anyone at campgrounds has seen these dogs please call 623 214 2098.We are located in Phoenix.
