Take a hike on the Myrtle Trail, and on a delightful day you acquire a delightful vista of Baker Butte from Baker Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express PAYSON is a fine choice; of course, this is a pleasant vicinity for people who like lakes, Twentynine Mile Lake is a lake in the vicinity. A splendid location to camp here at Baker Lake is Kehl Campground; going for a hike along the Highline       Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Baker Lake is generally a reasonably dry place; the month with most of the rain is August while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Baker Lake truly is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Payson Inn, and Baker Spring is a picturesque place to stop at while you're at Baker Lake. For the period of the days of summer highs                  here at Baker Lake get into the 90's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Baker Lake drop into the 20's. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, not sufficient time. Camping is available at Rim Shadows RV Park, and probably you're looking for close by lakes?
