Baca Lake is located in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Globe/Miami is a splendid place to spend a night or two; why not take a refreshing       hike along the Foot Canyon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Baca Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wildhorse Lake Campground is a pleasant location for that, and a tremendous place nearby is Baca Canyon. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Baca Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and if you've had enough of Baca Lake, West Blue Lake is close                  by. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Turkey Springs is always fun to check out; the West Holcomb Trail offers hiking at its best. You can run the rapids of Chevelon Creek near Baca Lake, and Best Western Sawmill Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Baca Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's.
