     Dry warm beds await you at S8 Flagstaff Downtown NAU Conference Center; Arizona Snowbowl is a perfect local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Babbitt Lake, you could also explore lovely Slate Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Flagstaff is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Around Babbitt Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; June is the month  
   with the least moisture. Arizona Snow Bowl Campground is a fine local campground, and there's nice hiking along the Kendrick Peak Trail.
All through the warm months at Babbitt Lake highs are usually in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Babbitt Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. Do have a look
 
               at Prong Lake near Babbitt Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and Coconino County Government is a great campground nearby. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. During your journey to Babbitt Lake you'll meet some people from Flagstaff for sure.
