From Aspen Lake you obtain a great vista of Brookbank Point; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the West Holcomb Trail. Camping at Gentry Campground is always a delightful experience, and going for a hike on the Bear Flat Pleasant Valley Trail is always a fine adventure. Best Western Sawmill Inn is a great spot to get some rest, and Nelson Lake is a good lake nearby. During the       summertime months here at Aspen Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Aspen Lake. Be careful coming to the Mogollon Rim Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. After a long day outdoors Kohls Ranch Lodge is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not                  for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Chevelon Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact abundant here at Aspen Lake. There is a great hiking trail near Aspen Lake called the Foot Canyon Trail, and do put some time aside to spend at Twin Springs if you're here at Aspen Lake. The Mogollon Rim Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Aspen Lake is pretty dehydrated commonly; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
