If the weather is great here at Aspen Lake, you can go for a hike along the Horton Creek Trail. Lakes? Sure, Lake Two is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the West Holcomb Trail, and not far from Aspen Lake you acquire some splendid water scenery at Willow Springs Dam. So much enjoyable stuff right next door to Aspen       Lake, definitely mind-boggling. There's so much to do here at Aspen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Canyon Creek Campground is a good place for that. Through the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Aspen Lake; the overnight is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Aspen Lake are in the 10's. Aspen Lake is wonderful enough to                  spend more than a day at, Rimtop Travel Trailer Park is a wonderful local campground, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Sawmill Inn is a glorious choice. Aspen Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is June. Going for a hike along the Bear Flat Pleasant Valley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and not far from Aspen Lake you'll stumble on Mosquito Lake which is a striking lake.
