Visiting Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Flagstaff Resort is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Lakes are great; Coconino Lake is a lake that's near Ashurst Lake; there's always Ashurst Lake Dam to have a look at in the neighborhood of Ashurst Lake.
