The beauty of Apache Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. The Alder Trail offers hiking at its best, and Apache Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Apache Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Gold Canyon Inn & Suites is a glorious spot to get some rest, and Fish Creek Canyon is a wonderful place to stop at. Throughout the warm months at Apache Lake temperatures

| | are usually in the 100's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Apache Lake.
Apache Lake is right by the Soldier Camp Trail, and you simply must take a look at Walls of Bronze if you're here at Apache Lake. Why not visit Horse Mesa Dam while you're here; Black Cross Butte can be seen from Apache Lake.

is pretty arid frequently; during March this area sees the most rain while June is typically the driest month. A nice place to camp here at Apache Lake is Burnt Corral Campground; Horse Pasture Spring is a delightful spot to check
out while you're at Apache Lake. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salt River; don't forget to take a fine little visit to Alder Creek.
And that's not all you can do here at Apache Lake. Hiking along the Baldy Trail is good fun; a splendid close by hotel is Gold Canyon Golf Resort.
