There are some good whitewater spots on Salt River, and you could always explore Fish Creek Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Saguaro Lake is in close proximity; a great panorama of pretty Black Cross Butte is available. This lake is so wonderful. Gold Canyon Golf Resort is a glorious location to get       some rest, and some of the water nearby flows, like Alder Creek. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. Go for a hike on the Soldier Camp Trail, and camping is available at Apache Lake Campground. Around Apache Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Not far from Apache Lake, you'll come across Canyon                  Lake which is a stunning lake, and going for a hike on the Alder Trail is always a great adventure.
