    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Apache Lake. If you're here at Apache Lake, checking out Walls of Bronze is a must; the Alder Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. Not much precipitation falls here at Apache Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer at Apache Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 100's, and through summer  
   nights temperatures are in the 70's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Apache Lake.
From Apache Lake you obtain a splendid vista of Black Cross Butte, and Apache Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Apache Lake Campground is a great local campground. Yeah, come here to Apache Lake for a great time. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Gold Canyon Inn & Suites; going for
 
               a hike on the Baldy Trail is always a splendid adventure. If you need a place to stay Gold Canyon Golf Resort is a fine choice; Salt River is a perfect whitewater spot close by.
This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Alder Creek; you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Saguaro Lake. Camping at Burnt Corral Campground is always a pleasant experience, and since you're here, you might as well explore Fish Creek Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. Near Apache Lake you hit upon the Soldier Camp Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; a short tour to Horse Pasture Spring is always worthwhile.
An out of the ordinary thing to check out close to Apache Lake is Horse Mesa Dam, and lakes are such serene spots, why not explore Canyon Lake. This place, Apache Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors fun stuff.
