The Ash Creek Trail Three Hundred Seven offers hiking at its best, and some close by water includes Central Wash. A pleasant tour to Robinson Flat is a splendid way to spend an afternoon, and do take a hike on the Shingle Mill Mesa Thirty Five Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Red Lamp Mobile Home Park, and Super 8 Safford is a splendid spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're       here at Allen Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from nearby Safford, and Hawk Hollow Canyon is in close proximity, and is a nice location. There's so much to do here at Allen Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Tower Mobile Park is a brilliant spot for that, and if you're here you can play some golf at MT Graham Golf Course. The sights at Chiricahua National Monument will blow your mind; if you need a place to stay SpringHill Suites Thatcher                  is a good choice. Around Allen Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and May is the month with the least moisture. Through the summer at Allen Reservoir highs are usually in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's; overnight lows during the winter for Allen Reservoir tend to be in the 20's. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Allen Reservoir.
