For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Alder Lake tend to be in the 20's. Alder Lake is a good place of typical rain; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. It's always good to take a look at Cliff Springs; going       for a hike on the Highline Trail is always a delightful adventure. Alder Lake is one of the lakes here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not explore Deer Lake near Alder Lake, and nearby you locate the Horton Creek Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Be careful coming to Alder Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. You'll find a stunning lake called Carr Lake near Alder Lake. Horton Campground is a great                  campground nearby, and the Bear Flat Pleasant Valley Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
