at Arizona Snowbowl is great, and you acquire a pleasant vista of A 1 Mountain from here. Around A One Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and June is when it's the driest.
All the outdoors cool stuff in the neighborhood of A One Lake will keep you coming back time and again. A tour to Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument is worthwhile; nearby you stumble on the Walnut Canyon Loop Trail which is a great hiking trail.
