The high level of precipitation makes Wyldewood Lake a pretty wet place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Searcy is a fine choice; there are plenty of people from Searcy here at Wyldewood Lake. Man, is there a load of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Wyldewood Lake. Wyldewood       Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Whitney Lane RV Park is a nice location to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Searcy-Days Inn. Wyldewood Lake is one of the lakes here in the Boston Mountains. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Boston Mountains. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Big Creek. Having a tremendous time in the Boston Mountains is easy. You'll stumble on a lovely lake called Smith Pond                  near Wyldewood Lake; not far from Wyldewood Lake you obtain some nice water scenery at Wyldewood Lake Dam. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bayou Des Arc River, and Wyldewood Retreat center & Summer is a tremendous local campground. Do take a look at Doniphan Lake in close proximity to Wyldewood Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and if you're here, you could stop by Adler Creek. At Wyldewood Lake during the warm months highs are in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Wyldewood Lake tend to be in the 20's.   Searcy-Days Inn, Searcy 3 miles away Located just minutes from the interstate in down town with plenty of shopping around.
