For the period of the summer here at Wise Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Wise Lake dip into the 20's. If you get bored of Wise Lake, you could also take a look at close by Cecil Jones Lake, and get wet paddling on       Saline River - Alum Fork. It's a wonderful idea to explore Dobbs Creek, it's right next door to Wise Lake, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Americas Best Inns-Benton. This lake is so wonderful. Wise Lake Dam is wonderful and it's close to Wise Lake, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Benton is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. So much exciting stuff near Wise Lake, truly amazing. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Wise Lake                  has to offer, you can camp at I-30 Travel Park, and whitewater paddling is great on Saline River - North Fork. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Wise Lake is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Benton RV Park is a splendid site to camp nearby, and Dotted Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Wise Lake is a pretty wet place frequently with much rain; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January.
