Summertime highs at Wingate Lake typically tend to be in the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Wingate Lake are in the 20's. Wingate Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while August is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.       This lake is so wonderful. There's always Wingate Lake Dam to stop at in the vicinity of Wingate Lake, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Saline River - North Fork. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ouachita Mountains. This is a brilliant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Jackson Reservoir is a lake close by, and playing golf is lots of fun at Western Hills Country Club. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains.                  But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Foreman Lake is close to Wingate Lake, and after a long day outdoors Guesthouse Intl Little Rock is a great spot to spend a night or two. You can run the rapids of Rock Creek near Wingate Lake, and why not have a look at close by Grassy Flat Creek while you're here at Wingate Lake. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Wingate Lake has it all.
