You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Ouachita Mountains. If you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby course is Western Hills Country Club, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Foreman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. At Wingate Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the

| | 20's to Wingate Lake. That right there is plenty of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Ouachita Mountains has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Hilton Inn Little Rock, and since you're here, you could also check out striking Jackson Reservoir. Wingate Lake is not far at all from Little Rock-North Little Rock; getting to Grassy Flat Creek from Wingate Lake is painless. Rock Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. River - North Fork is so much fun; at Wingate Lake Dam close to Wingate Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors
Guesthouse Intl Little Rock is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Wingate Lake has to offer, you can camp at N Little Rock Koa Kampground. Much rain falls at Wingate Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month.

 | You've got to be kidding me... The only time there's enough water in this creek to float would be after a huge storm, at that point we are talking flood stage. Then you are talking about going through the heart of Little Rock, with street overpasses some barely clearing the creek, lots of debris, etc.... |
Faulkner Lake
 | 19 miles away Well I have fished faulkner lake for about a year and still have no clue on how to catch crappie. It's a clear lake with lots of grass fairly deep from what I have seen with alot of trees near the bank and off the bank so yo's must work well.
