Here at Wilson Lake there are plenty of folks from Little Rock-North Little Rock, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Rock Creek. Lakes are such serene sites, why not explore Ward Lake right next door to Wilson Lake, and a round of golf at nearby Western Hills Country Club is a great way to kill some time. Wilson Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ouachita Mountains.       For the period of the summertime here at Wilson Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Wilson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place for whitewater paddling close to Wilson Lake is Saline River - North Fork, and if you need a place to stay TownePlace Suites Little Rock West is a splendid choice. If you haven’t been                  to Hot Springs National Park, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Embassy Suites Little Rock. All the outdoors amusing things in the Ouachita Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Sands Mobile Home Park is a great campground nearby, and needless to say Panther Branch flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at N Little Rock Koa Kampground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ouachita Mountains. A striking lake like Spring Valley Lake Number Two in close proximity to Wilson Lake is a pleasant place to check out; do pop by Wilson Lake Dam while you're here.
