The beauty of Willastein Lake is reason enough to stop by. Rector Brake is an out of the ordinary swamp close to Willastein Lake; a tremendous place to camp here at Willastein Lake is Lazy S RV Park. Any time is a great time at Willastein Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Willastein Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Sky RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and dry warm beds await you at North Little Rock / Maumelle Days Inn.

| | Devoe Lake is a pleasant lake right next door to Willastein Lake, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Willastein Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites North Little Rock is a good place to spend a night or two, and some of the water close by flows, like Palarm Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Rock, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Lake Norrell Spillway. You get a splendid sight of Cook Mountain from Willastein Lake, and don't miss out on a spree to Hot Springs National Park if you're here. For the
period of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 90's at Willastein Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights
come with lows in the 20's to Willastein Lake. There are other spots here than Willastein Lake, for example Lake Valencia; Country Club of Arkansas Department is a great golf course nearby. Willastein Lake is a pretty wet place usually
with a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. You can run the rapids of Rock Creek right next door to Willastein Lake.

 | You've got to be kidding me... The only time there's enough water in this creek to float would be after a huge storm, at that point we are talking flood stage. Then you are talking about going through the heart of Little Rock, with street overpasses some barely clearing the creek, lots of debris, etc.... |

Faulkner Lake
 | 19 miles away Well I have fished faulkner lake for about a year and still have no clue on how to catch crappie. It's a clear lake with lots of grass fairly deep from what I have seen with alot of trees near the bank and off the bank so yo's must work well. I do have pictures but have not uploaded them yet................ |
