All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Whitstine a wet location; the month with most of the rain is March, and January on the other hand is the driest. Jacksonport State Park is a glorious local campground, and Days Inn Newport is a brilliant place to get       some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Scenic Motor Inn, and not far from Lake Whitstine you'll stumble on Hog Pond which is a striking lake. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Meadow Lake; you're sure to stumble upon some good folks from Batesville here. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Lake Whitstine highs are commonly in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures                  are in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Lake Whitstine.
