Tucker Bay is close at hand and always pleasant to visit, and while you're here, you could check out Crow Creek. Why not camp at Lake Charles State Park if you're here at White Pond, and do check out Robinson Bay, it's a pretty lake. Throughout the days of summer highs here at White Pond reach the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with       temperatures at White Pond dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. White Pond ordinarily gets much rainfall; most of the rain falls during May, and June is the month with the least moisture. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Newport is a brilliant choice, and Old Davidsonville State Park is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Round Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Clover Bend is an interesting                  thing to observe while you're here.
