One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Weatherby Lake is Mutton Point; get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek. So much exciting
stuff to do in the Boston Mountains, not enough time. Getting to Boulder Creek from Weatherby Lake is painless, and there are some great whitewater spots on Buffalo River. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Weatherby Lake
you'll meet some folks from Harrison for sure, and do take a hike on the Alum Cove National Recreation Trail.
Summertime at Weatherby Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, mostly
in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Weatherby Lake. Weatherby Lake is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains.
