Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Piney Fork Lake, and a pleasant close by hotel is Super 8 Wheatley. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Super 8 RV Park is a great location to do that. Lakes are tremendous; Whistling Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity       of Walnut Lake. At Walnut Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Walnut Lake descend into the 20's. Walnut Lake is a wet location that gets a lot of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and August meanwhile is the driest month.
