This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Upper Old River, checking out Crooked Point Cut-off is a must, and if you came to camp Super 8 RV Park is a good place to do that. Upper Old River is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; through April this area sees the most rain, and August       is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn and Suites Brinkley; camping at Heritage Inn Camper Park is always a delightful experience. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Upper Old River. On a tremendous day you can stop at The Horn, a swamp near Upper Old River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Otter Lake.
