A visit to Twin Lakes is always a good idea. A lot of precipitation falls at Twin Lakes; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is August. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lakes Dam is stunning and it's near Twin Lakes; paddling on Rock Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. Ward Lake is a great lake right next door to Twin Lakes, and needless

| | to say Grassy Flat Creek flows through this region. Through the warm months highs here at Twin Lakes get into the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 50's; overnight lows at Twin Lakes all through the wintertime frequently descend into the 20's.
