The beauty of Tritt Lake attracts many people from all around. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Boston Mountains. Cove Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Piney Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Tritt Lake is right by the Ozark
Highlands Trail. A great deal of rainfall falls at Tritt Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is January.
The warmest time of the year at Tritt Lake comes
with high temperatures in the 90's, and the night is a tad colder of course, frequently in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Tritt Lake are in the 20's.
