This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit Tobin Lake Dam while you're here; paddling on Saline River is so much fun. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Tobin Lake. Russey Lake is a splendid lake near Tobin Lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Cold Branch is a stream you can visit while you're here. A       delightful lake like Johnson Lake in the vicinity of Tobin Lake is a magnificent location to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Tobin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Millwood State Park is a fine place for that. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Texarkana is a nice place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is great on Cossatot River. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Tobin Lake. When the night sets in temperatures                  descend down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Tobin Lake tend to be in the 20's.
