High temperatures at Timber Lake throughout the warm months are in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 20's for Timber Lake. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Timber Lake.       If you need a place to stay Days Inn Benton is a pleasant choice, and Branch Hollow Mobile Home Park is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Alcoa Water Supply next to Timber Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and you can run the rapids of Saline River - Alum Fork. Timber Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. A beautiful lake like Holding Pond Number                  Two Reservoir in the vicinity of Timber Lake is a pleasant location to go to; why not camp at Benton RV Park since you're here at Timber Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ouachita Mountains.
