And that's not all the things to do here in the Ouachita Mountains. Caddo River is a fine whitewater spot near Tigue Lake; perfect water scenery is available at Tigue Lake Dam next to Tigue Lake. Just can't get enough of the Ouachita Mountains. The good people of Arkadelphia like to hang out close by. The high level of rainfall makes Tigue Lake a relatively wet spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain,       and January on the other hand is the driest. Markham Mountain is gorgeous and can be observed from Tigue Lake, of course you could also visit Mill Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Missouri River; a lake nearby is Sylvan Lake. Tigue Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. Camp Albert Pike Store and Cabin                  is a tremendous local campground, and Tigue Lake is right by the Gap Mountain Trail. Tigue Lake really is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. A quick trip to Fivemile Creek close to Tigue Lake is a fine idea, and if you came for an overnight stay Arrowhead Cabin and Canoe Rentals is a brilliant place to camp. For the duration of the long summer days here at Tigue Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's.
