Tigue Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ouachita Mountains. Glide down the rapids of Caddo River in a kayak, and there's always Tigue Lake Dam to explore next to Tigue Lake. Tigue Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some friendly folks from       Arkadelphia here, and let's not forget Fivemile Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Ouachita Mountains. Markham Mountain is pretty and can be seen from Tigue Lake, and if you came to camp Camp Albert Pike Store and Cabin is a perfect location to do that. And that's not all you can do here at Tigue Lake. There's so much to do here at Tigue Lake that                  you need to camp here for a while, Arrowhead Cabin and Canoe Rentals is a pleasant place for that. Summertime highs at Tigue Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Tigue Lake descend into the 20's.
