If you came to camp Tall Pines RV Park is a brilliant place to do that, and you're most likely addicted to lakes, Pickthorne Lake is one of those close by. All through the summertime at Taton Lake highs are mostly in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Taton Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Taton Lake, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Bayou Des Arc River. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Taton Lake will keep you coming back many times. There's so much to do here | |

at Taton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Oakley Estates Mobile Home Park is a great site for that, and why not a little side journey to Dubb Creek.
While you're here at Taton Lake it's a nice idea to take a look at
Ford Bottoms, and if you need a place to stay Cranbury Inn and Suites is a perfect choice. Taton Lake gets much water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; August meanwhile is the driest month.
