Arkansas has many beautiful lakes and Tall Timber Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Tall Timber Lake get into the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 50's; overnight lows in the 20's for Tall Timber Lake.

| | Rock Creek in a kayak, and Tall Timber Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, N Little Rock Koa Kampground is a good site to camp nearby. Tall Timber Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You could also visit Foreman Lake since you're here at Tall Timber Lake; it's nearby, and Western Hills Country Club is a pleasant golf course
nearby. So many enjoyable things in the Ouachita Mountains, just mind-blowing. Sands Mobile Home Park is a great local campground, and the cheerful folks of Little Rock-North Little Rock like to hang out close by. Tall Timber Lake
Dam is not far at all from Tall Timber Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Saline River - North Fork offers some fine whitewater.

is a delightful location to take a look at; after a long day outdoors Little Rock Knights Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two.
