This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sugar Creek, and Freedom Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. For the duration of the months of summer at Lake Takima temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. There are some great whitewater spots on Jack Creek; not far from Lake Takima you'll come across Waldron Lake which is a wonderful lake. Camping at Y City Mountain Inn is always a pleasant experience; you don’t have to go far from Lake Takima to catch a sight of the water at Lake Lakima Dam.
