After a long day outdoors Hot Springs Knights Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and Crouchwood Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. The sights at Hot Springs National Park will blow your mind, and if you're here, you could also explore wonderful Crouchwood Lake. Through the summer months highs here at Tailings Pond reach the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's       commonly in the 70's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 50's with temperatures at Tailings Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do close to Tailings Pond. If you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a great choice, and float down the rapids of Gulpha Creek in a kayak. Tailings Pond gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the                  one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. Just can't get enough of the Ouachita Mountains. Camping is available at Bartee Meadow RV Park and Camping, and a round of golf at nearby Lakeside Golf Club is a pleasant way to kill some time. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Why not camp at Western Village Mobile Home Park while you're here at Tailings Pond; during your tour here you'll meet some people from Hot Springs for sure. And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable things to do in the Ouachita Mountains.
