Hiking along the Butterfield Hiking Trail is glorious fun. A good nearby hotel is Days Inn Alma, and T J House Reservoir is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Shores Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground. At T J House Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at T J House Reservoir all through the winter commonly       descend into the 20's. A beautiful lake like Brandenburg Lake near T J House Reservoir is a pleasant spot to go to, and do take a hike on the Shores Lake Water Rock Spur. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at T J House Reservoir you can play some golf at Eagle Crest Golf Course, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mormon Creek. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to                  do in the Boston Mountains. Do have a look at Bruce Lake near T J House Reservoir, it's a stunning lake, and a magnificent place to camp here at T J House Reservoir is Alma Koa Kampground. T J House Reservoir gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. You absolutely should go for the Boston Mountains. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is great on Mill Creek.
