Swearinger Lake typically gets a large amount of precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hart Creek, and Swearinger Lake Dam is stunning. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Swearinger Lake. Camping at Devil's Den State Park is always a splendid experience, and after       a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Van Buren (I-40 @ Hwy. 59 N.), is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is brilliant here at Swearinger Lake, you can go for a hike along the Butterfield Hiking Trail, and a tremendous place to camp here at Swearinger Lake is Overland RV Park. All the outdoors amusing things in the Boston Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. A quick spree to Cove Creek                  in the vicinity of Swearinger Lake is a perfect idea, and the summit of Pine Mountain can be made out from Swearinger Lake. Through the months of summer here at Swearinger Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Swearinger Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
