Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Swearinger Lake. There's so much to do here at Swearinger Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Devil's Den State Park is a glorious site for that, and you can run the rapids of Lee Creek. This lake is so       wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Hart Creek is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Swearinger Lake, and a lake nearby is Cold Spring Lake. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Boston Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Swearinger Lake is near Swearinger Lake Dam which is a beautiful spot absolutely worth taking a look at, and if you came to camp Overland RV Park is a pleasant place to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy                  the Boston Mountains. Don't forget to take a tremendous little journey to Cove Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Van Buren Inn. On a pretty day you obtain a view of Pine Mountain from Swearinger Lake, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express VAN BUREN (I-40 AT HWY. 59N) is a splendid choice. Take a hike on the Butterfield Hiking Trail, and Switchback Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Throughout the warm days of summer at Swearinger Lake highs are frequently in the 90's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Swearinger Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
