You'll need more than a day to look at everything Surge Pond has to offer, you can camp at Branch Hollow Mobile Home Park, and Cold Spring Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. with a good deal of precipitation; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hot Springs National Park is a great national park, and dry warm
beds await you at Vista Inn and Stes Little Rock. High temperatures at Surge Pond during the days of summer are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets
highs in the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Surge Pond temperatures plunge to the 20's.
