Summer brings highs in the 90's to Sumac Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's while Sumac Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. But wait, there's more to do near Sumac Lake. This lake       is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Sumac Lake is Deer Leap Campground; a tour to Johnston Eddy is always a splendid idea.
