All the outdoors exciting things right next door to Stone Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Do stop at Jewell Lake in the neighborhood of Stone Lake, it's a lovely lake, and why not a little side tour to Beaver Creek. Hot Springs National Park is a perfect local destination here at Stone Lake; the nice folks of Little Rock-North       Little Rock like to hang out close by. Stone Lake Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's in close proximity to Stone Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Blue Sky RV Park is a good place to camp. High temperatures at Stone Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Stone Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter                  nights. All the water falling down from the sky makes Stone Lake a wet place; through May this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A glorious nearby hotel is Days Inn North Little Rock / Maumelle, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Reynolds Mountain from Stone Lake is picturesque. This lake is so wonderful.
