This is a delightful region for people who like lakes. Tupelo Bayou Site One Reservoir is a lake close by, and a good close by hotel is Howard Johnson Inn - Conway. A good deal of precipitation falls at Stevens Lake; most of the rain falls throughout May; the driest of the months is January. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Stevens Lake. A tremendous location next to Stevens Lake is Rocky Gap, and a great place for whitewater paddling

You've got to be kidding me... The only time there's enough water in this creek to float would be after a huge storm, at that point we are talking flood stage. Then you are talking about going through the heart of Little Rock, with street overpasses some barely clearing the creek, lots of debris, etc.... |
