Sprick Lake is a pretty wet place typically with lots of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Western Hills Country Club is a golf course close to Sprick Lake; if you came to camp Sands Mobile Home Park is a pleasant place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. TownePlace       Suites Little Rock West is a wonderful spot to get some rest. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Ouachita Mountains. High temperatures at Sprick                  Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; overnight lows during the winter for Sprick Lake tend to be in the 20's. An interesting thing to pop by near Sprick Lake is Sprick Lake Dam, and a pleasant site for whitewater paddling is Rock Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saline River - North Fork; camping at N Little Rock Koa Kampground is always a glorious experience. So many exciting things in the Ouachita Mountains, just astonishing.
