Snaggy Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Shadey Park RV and Trailer Haven is a magnificent local campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Texarkana here. This lake is so wonderful. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would       be. Snaggy Lake frequently gets a lot of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and August is when it's the driest. Long Slough Dam is worth going to if you're here; a splendid place to camp here at Snaggy Lake is Sterling Crest RV Park. Swamps are interesting sites and Ford Slough next                  to Snaggy Lake is no exception, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Atlanta State Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
