Man, is there lots of cool things to do in the neighborhood of Smith Pond. Swan Ponds is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Wyldewood Retreat center & Summer is a great local campground. This place, the Boston Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Big Creek is a fine whitewater spot near Smith Pond, and Days       Inn Searcy is a wonderful spot to get some rest. So many amusing things to do in the Boston Mountains, not enough time. Smith Pond is one of the lakes here in the Boston Mountains. Cobbite Branch is a delightful place to explore, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Searcy for sure. For the period of the days of summer at Smith Pond highs are frequently in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures during                  the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Smith Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Smith Pond, you could also explore close by Wyldewood Lake, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Searcy is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.
