You could also go to Wyldewood Lake if you're here at Smith Pond; it's nearby; Whitney Lane RV Park is a glorious local campground. Be careful coming to the Boston Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. There's whitewater on Bayou Des Arc River       for all you adrenaline junkies; if you need a place to stay Searcy-Days Inn is a tremendous choice. At Smith Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Smith Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. This is no location for people who don’t like to have                  fun. Hampton Inn Searcy is a tremendous location to get some rest; why not camp at Wyldewood Retreat center & Summer while you're here at Smith Pond. That right there is a heap of exciting things already but it goes on, the Boston Mountains has it all. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Creek, and if you're dropping by from Searcy, you won't be the only one.
