That right there is loads already, but it continues; Smith Pond has it all. Lakes are such serene locations, why not pop by Swan Ponds right next door to Smith Pond; if you came for an overnight stay Whitney Lane RV Park is a fine place to camp. Throughout the long summer days here at Smith Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the       wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Smith Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. All year is a fine time in the Boston Mountains if you love the outdoors. You'll stumble on a charming lake called Wyldewood Lake near Smith Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek. Smith Pond is one of the lakes here in the Boston Mountains. A great nearby hotel is Searcy-Days Inn, and why not camp at Wyldewood Retreat                  center & Summer if you're here at Smith Pond. Much precipitation falls at Smith Pond; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most while January is mostly the driest month. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Bayou Des Arc River, and as expected Cobbite Branch is a stunning stream that is worth stopping at. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Boston Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
