Sleepy Valley Middle Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blakely Creek - North Fork; camping is available at J&J RV Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes Sleepy Valley Middle Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Drift down the rapids of Gulpha Creek in a       kayak, and glorious water scenery is available at Lower Dam Number Two near Sleepy Valley Middle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Travelier Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Country Club Lake is around here. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Ouachita Mountains. The Gorge is a nice spot to take a look at nearby, and a brilliant site to camp here at Sleepy Valley Middle Lake is Gulpha Gorge Campground.                  This lake is so wonderful. One of the principal features of the surroundings of Sleepy Valley Middle Lake is Hot Springs Mountain; do put some time aside to spend at Big Chalybeate Spring while you're here at Sleepy Valley Middle Lake. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Ouachita Mountains is great! Here at Sleepy Valley Middle Lake you'll perhaps meet some people from Hot Springs, and if you have time to spare, Hot Springs National Park is a national park worth a visit. At Sleepy Valley Middle Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Sleepy Valley Middle Lake are in the 20's.
