Through the long summer days at Shores Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Shores Lake drop into the 20's. A trip to Alexander Hollow is always fun, and splendid hiking is available along the Shores Lake Water Rock Spur. Not       enough hours in a day to enjoy the Boston Mountains. Dry Fork is a stream that you may encounter while you're here, and whitewater paddling is great on Hurricane Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Shores Lake; Spy Rock Redding Loop is a nice local trail. There's so much to do here at Shores Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shores Lake Campground is a tremendous place for that. Shores Lake Dam is an interesting                  thing to check out, and if you came to camp Turner Bend is a brilliant spot to do that. All the outdoors amusing things in the Boston Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine choice. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Shores Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on Mulberry River, and after a long day outdoors Ozark Days Inn is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Shores Lake is a beautiful lake in the Boston Mountains.
