Be careful coming to Shooks Reservoir, you might not ever want to return home again. Throughout the warm days of summer at Shooks Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter       at Shooks Reservoir temperatures sink to the 20's. Shooks Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Jones Landing and Campgroud is a glorious local campground, and let's not forget Deep Bayou which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay.
