This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by nearby Cedar Creek if you're here at Scott Lake, and a wonderful spot for whitewater paddling is Sugar Creek. The warmest time of the year at Scott Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. During the winter highs       are in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Scott Lake drop into the 20's. That right there is plenty of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Ouachita Mountains has it all. Camping is available at Mount Magazine State Park, and if you get bored of Scott Lake you could also stop at nearby Blue Mountain Lake. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Magazine Hiking Trail, and Beason Cove is very near and is                  a tremendous place to visit. Days Inn Ozark is a great site to get some rest, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Jack Creek. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Ouachita Mountains. Scott Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things close to Scott Lake.
