If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Russey Lake. Not far from Russey Lake, you'll locate Johnson Lake which is a scenic lake. Summertime highs at Russey Lake regularly tend to be in the 90's. For the duration of       the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Russey Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Russey Lake gets a good deal of water; May is the month that gets the most rain while August is commonly the driest month. A swamp like Borne Mill Slough in close proximity to Russey Lake has lots of interesting things to see, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody                  but if it's for you then, we recommend Saline River. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Russey Lake, for example Tobin Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Western Plaza Inn.
