Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Round Pond. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Round Pond. After a long day outdoors Best Western Scenic Motor Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and swing       by Black River it's a good site to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Mason Bend is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Round Pond, and a lake close by is Bergen Lake. Round Pond truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Round Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Jacksonport State Park is a nice local campground, and Lofton Lake is an out of the ordinary swamp close to Round Pond. Round Pond is not the only spot close                  by, Horseshoe Lake is a close by lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Newport Country Club; Days Inn Newport is a delightful spot to get some rest.
