Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Boston Mountains. There's whitewater on Cadron Creek - East Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; hey, Budd Creek is a perfect local stream. So many entertaining things to do here in the Boston Mountains, too great to       be true. All the water falling down from the sky makes Rodgers Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest of the months is January. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Rodgers Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Bay Resort, and Quality Inn Heber Springs is a great spot to get some rest. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Possum Walk Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay                  Spring Mountain Retreat is a delightful place to camp. Rodgers Lake is one of the lakes here in the Boston Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Rodgers Lake while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's; overnight lows at Rodgers Lake through the winter regularly drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
