This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. Ricks Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. Dry warm beds await you at Springs Hotel and Spa, and       camping at Gulpha Gorge Campground is always a tremendous experience. This lake is so wonderful. The views at Hot Springs National Park will blow your mind, and a lake close by is Desoto Lake. Big Chalybeate Spring is a great local attraction, and a magnificent location to camp here at Ricks Pond is Hot Springs RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Ricks Pond is a spot with many visitors from Hot Springs, and if you want a little side spree, try The Gorge.                  For the period of the warm days of summer here at Ricks Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Ricks Pond. Ricks Pond is not the only location close by, Ricks Pond is a close by lake. Yeah, come up here to the Ouachita Mountains for a tremendous time. If you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Magic Hills Public Golf Course, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Desoto Park Dam. After a long day outdoors Embassy Suites Hotel Hot Springs, Ar is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; get yourself into a kayak and hit Gulpha Creek. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Ouachita Mountains will keep you coming back many times.
