A visit to Ricks Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. This is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes. Country Club Lake is a lake nearby; you'll almost certainly meet some people from Hot Springs here. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Ouachita Mountains has to offer. Near Ricks Pond you find nice places like The Gorge; if you need a place to stay Travelier Inn is a splendid choice. Having a delightful

| | time in the Ouachita Mountains is uncomplicated. If you come at the right time of year, Saline River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater It's always great to pop by Big Chalybeate Spring.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff close to Ricks Pond. Drift down the rapids of Gulpha Creek in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Ricks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gulpha Gorge Campground is a delightful place for that. Ricks Pond | |

gets a large amount of water; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January.
Do pay a visit to Hot Springs National Park since you're here at Ricks Pond, and since you're here and
you like golf, you can visit Magic Hills Public Golf Course. All through the long summer days highs here at Ricks Pond get into the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through the winter
the highs are usually in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Ricks Pond plunge into the 20's. Desoto Park Dam is a pretty spot right next door to Ricks Pond; you acquire a fine panorama of Hot Springs
Mountain from here.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and if you came to camp J&J RV Park is a great spot to do that. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
