Lots of rain falls at Ricks Lake; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of Ricks Lake. All our national parks are brilliant spots to explore, and Hot Springs National Park is no exception, and paddling on Saline River - Middle Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Dillon Lake; whitewater       paddling is good on Gulpha Creek. Howard Johnson Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and if you get bored of Ricks Lake you could also pop by nearby Bethel Lake. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here in the Ouachita Mountains. Ricks Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Phil's Mobile Home Park is a great spot to camp nearby; you can stay the night at Pit Stop RV Park and Restaurant. Ricks Lake is a beautiful                  lake in the Ouachita Mountains. So many entertaining things in the Ouachita Mountains, just phenomenal. A splendid nearby hotel is Springs Hotel and Spa, and if you're visiting from Hot Springs, you won't be the only one. Ricks Dam is pretty and it's in the neighborhood of Ricks Lake, and for you golfers we recommend close by Magic Hills Public Golf Course. During the summer at Ricks Lake highs are regularly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
