This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. If you came to camp Pit Stop RV Park and Restaurant is a tremendous place to do that, and playing golf is lots of fun at Magic Hills Public Golf Course. Through the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 90's at Ricks Lake. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's.       For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Ricks Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Man, is there loads of amusing things to do near Ricks Lake. All our national parks are great spots to stop by, and Hot Springs National Park is no exception, and if you get bored of Ricks Lake you could also go to nearby Bethel Lake. At Ricks Lake you always meet someone from Hot Springs, and Hot Springs Reservoir is                  a nearby lake that you could have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ricks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Phil's Mobile Home Park is a great location for that; why not stop at Ricks Dam since you're here. Ricks Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ouachita Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Gulpha Creek; a wonderful nearby hotel is Springs Hotel and Spa.
