Porter Lake is a lake worth visiting. Finley Bar is a nice place to check out in the neighborhood of Porter Lake, and Porter Lake is not the only place nearby, Bushy Lake is a nearby lake. All through the summertime at Porter Lake highs are typically in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Porter Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. This is no site for people

The high level of precipitation makes Porter Lake a reasonably wet site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Porter Lake, do take a visit to Bowies Point; there are swamps here too, Horseshoe Lake Bayou is nearby.
